MEET OUR FOUNDER
Brenda Nettey, LCSW-C is a psychotherapist and licensed clinical social worker providing trauma-informed, evidence-based mental health care to adults, couples, and groups. She specializes in working with anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and relationship concerns, with a clinical approach that integrates both emotional healing and long-term personal growth.
Brenda is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) (not yet) offers trauma-focused therapy for clients seeking deeper, more targeted healing. She also provides immigration psychological evaluations, conducting thorough, culturally responsive assessments to support individuals navigating immigration-related legal processes.
In addition to clinical work, Brenda serves in leadership and supervisory roles within integrated healthcare settings, where she has helped develop and expand behavioral health services, including group therapy programs and interdisciplinary care models. She provides clinical supervision for LMSWs and graduate-level clinicians and offers consulting services to medical and wellness practices seeking to build or strengthen in-house behavioral health departments.
Brenda is also the founder of To Her Future Self by Brendaline Nettey®, a faith-centered mental health and wellness brand focused on helping women grow emotionally, spiritually, and personally through community, resources, and reflective practices.
Across all areas of her work, Brenda is deeply committed to ethical practice, cultural humility, and creating spaces where individuals feel supported, empowered, and understood.
